About Us
NextGen Power, LLC sees a massive void growing in the explosive battery powered world rapidly emerging. Rechargeable batteries are being trashed prematurely, yet there are very few industries serving the recycling — and more importantly, repairing — of weak discarded batteries. Few currently available products are capable of extending the life of these energy storage devices. NextGen products will serve the automotive, power tool, lawn & garden and solar industries, with programs that empower individuals to take these products and services to their communities. Our key people have a diverse background and passion that brings together individual skill sets to create a whole new industry sector.
CEO - Randy J. Catlett
Randy Catlett is the owner and founder of NextGen Power, LLC. with over 40 years of experience in the alternative fuel and energy sectors. He has engineered, installed, and maintained alternative fuel systems while delivering training for several of these technologies, and is an OK state-certified Alternative Fuels technician. After his service in the United States Marine Corps as a welder, Randy entered the civilian workforce doing what he enjoys most, creating, fixing, and improving things. He was a Crew Chief on both a Modified Stock Car in California and an IMCA race car in Oklahoma. He is the former retired US MTA Lightweight Kickboxing Champ, which illustrates his commitment to excellence. He owned several traditional auto repair shops, where his skills served him well, making him well-versed in all types of welding, fabrication, and repair techniques.
Randy’s vision for national energy independent has motivated him to pursue the field of alternative fuels and energy spanning 4 decades. Working in the automotive venue, Randy saw pneumatic power tools replaced by battery-powered versions. This in itself created a whole new untapped market in energy storage service, repair, and enhancement. Randy is a hands-on CEO, working with the team developing new products and ideas. He also has a marketing background, having managed large groups (thousands) in the networking sector. His vision for NextGen Power is to create a family of products and services that empower small entrepreneurs, make battery powered an even greener ecological choice, and save end customers money over current alternatives.
